1.Management and system
A.The system of initiating report on R&D project
Before carrying out all the R&D projects officially, we shall formulate an initiating report and carry out evaluation. The report shall mainly be formulated with regard to the project background, the project innovation, the economic benefit of project, and the performance indexes to be met, the project schedule and the completion time. This is aimed at making sure the products as developed by our institute are absolutely advantageous in technology and market.
B.R&D input accounting system
For the ongoing project, we shall establish an R&D input accounting system to improve the management of the R&D department. All the expenses paid for developing project shall be included in the management expense according to the actual amount. The R&D input accounting system is primarily composed of the scope as defined according to the expenditure of the research and development funds and the accounting of expenditure for the enterprise’s research and development funds. The system shall be executed in strict compliance with the rules and regulations in order to ensure the funds safety.
2.Development goal
As early as the 1980s, Tianjin introduced first duplicator and toner production line from Canon. The synthetic material institute was the first in China to have researched toner resin and launched it in the market. Tianjin research institute for copying technology took the lead in China in researching photosensitive drum - the key component of duplicator. Tianjin is the cradle and technology cluster of the duplicator, toner, toner resin, and other auxiliary products of China.
In the future, our business division will further develop high-end toner and toner resin for duplicators. In the toner field, we shall, based on our present situation, make our advantages more competitive, further raise the performance of our present products, and increase the market share. At the same time, we shall make expansion and innovation to a further extent and keep adjusting the research thinking and product structure to raise our core competitiveness. Considering our overall development, our institute is still actively seeking the approach for merger, acquisition and reorganization of resource integration and striving to complement each other's advantages and bring about win-win cooperation. All these are directed at boosting the rapid growth of the toner industry of China.
In the resin field, because toner styrene-acrylic resin is still the mainstream toner resin of China’s compatible powder market, our business division will further give play to our technical strength comparable to foreign advanced enterprises to further raise our product quality and process level. Our company has been opening up the international market continuously on the strength of our superior quality and competitive price. In the meantime, to further meet the ever-increasing market need of polyester, our business division is also increasing our input in research and development year by year, in an effort to develop the toner compatible with high-end duplicator.
3.Environmental liability
A.Environment-friendly products
We are fully aware that the volatile organic compound from toner cartridges and toner for printing machine is the indoor environmental pollution source that has been paid the highest attention by the public. For years, we have also been committed to reducing the content of this volatile organic compound in toner. Because resin is the main component of toner, the key to reduce volatile organic compound is the manufacturing process of resin.
To realize the ultra-low content of volatile organic compound, our business department established a manufacturing shop for styrene-acrylic resin kettle in 2013. The most cutting-edge devolatilization process equipment from Switzerland is also available, which lowers the low-molecular metabolites in the product to below 300 ppm and which meets EU’s export standard.
B.Process of environmental protection
The production of resin by our division department adopts the solution polymerization method totally. The solvent removed from devolatilization equipment will be recycled and will therefore avoid the discharge of liquid waste. Moreover, the heat source of environmental protection will bring down energy consumption as much as possible.
